The aims of this project are:

  • to understand the experiences of inclusion among African migrants in Victoria between 1998 and 2018, in partnership with a range of community organisations.

  • to establish effective research partnerships with industry organisations and investigate what resources, networks, support systems, or programs, that assisted them in the process of settlement and inclusion into a variety of social and cultural networks.

  • to understand the role that cultural and religious beliefs and practices have played in supporting inclusion and promoting wellbeing of African migrants.
