Experiences of Inclusion: African Migrants In Victoria 1998-2018

This project aims to understand the experiences of inclusion among African migrants in Victoria between 1998 and 2018, in partnership with a range of community organisations. Researchers hope to establish effective research partnerships with industry organisations and investigate what resources, networks, support systems, or programs, that assisted them in the process of settlement and inclusion into a variety of social and cultural networks. Importantly the research team aims to understand the role that cultural and religious beliefs and practices have played in supporting inclusion and promoting wellbeing of African migrants.
