Laura Mahoney is the Executive Director of Homelessness Solutions and Impact at Launch Housing. She's a values-driven leader with extensive experience in the not-for-profit, public, and professional services sectors.

In her role, Laura focuses on measuring and improving the impact of their services on individuals, communities, and society. She believes that understanding what works is key to making meaningful changes.

Laura's work involves continuously enhancing services, testing new evidence-based approaches, and advocating for a more integrated system to achieve better outcomes for those they support. Before joining Launch Housing, she was a Partner at a consulting firm, leading policy and evaluation practices. Her extensive government experience as an integrated land use and infrastructure planner sparked her passion for ensuring everyone has a home.

Launch Housing is a Melbourne-based community organisation dedicated to ending homelessness. They provide a range of services, including crisis accommodation, housing support, and outreach programs. Launch Housing is known for its innovative approaches and strong advocacy for affordable housing, aiming to create lasting positive change in the community.

Laura Mahoney will be a panelist at the Action Research Centre's event on September 12th. Our event, titled "Breakfast with Sheree Limbrick, Laura Mahoney, Tania Wolff, and Manasi Wagh,” will take place at The Mantra on Little Bourke in Melbourne. The panel will focus on discussing legal, housing, and financial issues faced by women.

Laura, with her extensive experience in homelessness solutions and impact, will bring valuable insights into how integrated approaches and partnerships can improve outcomes for women dealing with these challenges.
