Dr Adele Murdolo is an accomplished individual who has played a significant role in the advancement of migrant and refugee women's health across the country.

As the Executive Director of the Multicultural Centre for Women's Health, she has been instrumental in advocating for research, policy and practice that improves the status and wellbeing of migrant and refugee women.

The Multicultural Centre for Women’s Health is a national women’s health centre run by and for migrant and refugee women.

Dr Murdolo holds a PhD in History and Women's Studies, which remains a testament to her expertise in her chosen field. Moreover, she has served on numerous national, state and ministerial councils and taskforces focused on addressing violence against women.

Notably, she is presently a member of the Primary Prevention Sector Reference Group (Victorian Department of Families, Fairness and Housing) as well as the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Communities COVID-19 Health Advisory Group (Commonwealth Department of Health), among other notable groups.

As an honorary senior research fellow at the Centre for Health Equity at the University of Melbourne, Dr Murdolo is a strong speaker, advocate and leader who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
